How to install WhatsApp to iPad/iPod without iPhone (no jailbreak). Part 2

PART 2: Install WhatsApp to your iPad/iPod.

After you have done the first part of this guide, now shift your focus on how to install the apps to your device.

1. Open iTunes. 
2. Make sure you have logged in with your own Apple ID. Search Whatsapp. Download it. 
3. Search the Whastapp.ipa apps in your PC by using the 'Search' function. Open its file location and copy paste it at your desktop. 
4. Open ifunbox. 
5. Connect your device and it will detect automatically. Select ifunbox classic. Select your device and click 'Install App'. Select the Whatsapp.ipa from your desktop. 
6. After that, open Whatsapp in your iPad/iPod. You will get "Sorry, your device is currently not supported" notification. Do not fret. Close it.
7. Now, connect your friend's iPhone to the PC. In ifunbox classic, select iPhone and click User Application. Select Whatsapp and open. 
8. Select Document and Library files and click 'Copy to PC'. Save it to your desktop. 
9. Now, delete Whatsapp in the iPhone. 
10. Then, in ifunbox, select your iPad/iPod and open User Application. Select Whatsapp. Click 'Copy from PC' button and select the Document and Library files that you saved in your desktop and copy paste it in the ifunbox. It will overwrite the existing folders. 
11. Congratulations, you have a functional Whatsapp in your iPad/iPod.

Make sure you logged out from your friend's iPhone iTunes and Apps Store. After logged in, he can reinstall Whatsapp from iCloud. 

If you failed, try to delete the apps from iPad/iPod and repeat the installation process and the copying and pasting of Document and Library files from iPhone and to iPad/iPod. Its a trial and error process.

How to install WhatsApp to iPad/iPod without iPhone (no jailbreak). Part 1

You have an iPad or iPod and want to install Whatsapp. but you do not have an iPhone to do the job.
Do not fret.

Here is the method that you can do to install Whatsapp into your iDevice.

What you need:

-your iPad or iPod
-your friend's iPhone (from a friend who does not mind if anything happens to his Whatsapp apps)
-iTunes (click here to download and install iTunes)
-ifunbox (click here to download and install ifunbox)

First and foremost, your friend must do the backup for his whatsapp chat history. Open Whatsapp - Settings - Chat Settings - Chat Backup. It will save the chat to the iCloud. To be safe, copy your Whatsapp data using ifunbox. Open ifunbox - ifunbox classic - User Application - Whatsapp. Select all the files and folders from whatsapp file and click 'copy to pc'. Save it to your desktop.


PART 1:Register your own Whatsapp.

1. After your friend have done the backup, he can delete the apps from the iphone.
2. Go to Settings, and open iTunes & App Store. Sign out his Apple ID and enter yours.
3. Exit Settings, and then open Apps Store. Search Whatsapp, and click 'Free' button and install.
4. Register Whatsapp with your phone number. You will received an SMS in your phone and verify it with the access code given. Do not fret if it automatically sync with your friend's contacts because it will disappear in your ipad/ipod once completed.
5. Congratulations, you officially have a Whatsapp.
